Too far away from San G,the roads did not allow for walking or running ---too dangerous.

This is a very well maintained facility. The room and grounds were impeccably kept making us feel very much at home. The swimming pool and surrounding area were beautiful. We would stay at Il Cardino again on a return trip to Italy. The owners are very nice and tried to do everything to make us comfortable.

We were very pleased with our stay in Antico Borgo ll Cardino. Breakfast was great with lot of different food served. Room was really nice and clean with magnificent view. Pool and surrounding garden was great and we enjoyed our time spent there.

The staff is very friendly and very kiond. I would say excellent. The only problem we had was that it was unseasonably cold and the air conditioning had not been switched to heating yet. This was something the owners could not do themselves. With tile floors the room was very cold. There were sufficient blankets, however. The linen on the beds was excellent and despite everything we were pleased. The breakfasts were good.

The owners need to think about converting the airconditioning to heating by September. They could not get a technician out soon enough to flip the switches. The story that Italian law does not allow heating until Nov 1, just doesn't seem logical since other places we stayed at heated. I would expect that the rooms should be able to be at least 18C.

Una struttura molto carina e pulita, immersa in un bellissimo paesaggio dove ci si può rilassare e al tempo stesso visitare le bellissime città e paesini posti nelle vicinanze. Inoltre la gentilezza e cortesia dei padroni e del personale.

Beauty, quiet, private terraces, great staff

It was very cold & rainy during our 4 days, and the staff said that Italian law prevented them from turning on the central heating (necessary in order to use the individual room heaters). We froze!

Our stay was great. We received a warm welcome. The room was very nice with a beautiful view. The morning buffet was very good and they have a beautiful swimming pool. I improved my italian by talking to the friendly hosts.I would very much recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who wants to see Tuscany.greetings Stefan & Sylvia
