    The location was excellent and staff was very friendly

    La posizione è ottima ed il personale è gentile e disponibile.
    Non ho gradito il fatto che risulti come B&B ma non è fornita la prima colazione, come credo sia per legge, allora ci si definisca in un'altra maniera, ma non B&B.

    Reasonbable location though not near one of the vaporetto stops
    We booked bed and breakfast and there was no breakfast or even any intention of providing it.
    Very dark and dingy entrance to the property.

    My wife and I were pleased with our stay in Ca Orfeo. We had a room with a external bathroom, both very clean. Good location, close to interesting places and surprisingly, very quiet. Staff (1 person), very kind. And the mattress were really comfortables.
    Just one objection: we had no Internet connection nor TV set, but I thing one doesn´t go to Venice to look at the TV , and you have WiFi connection
    relatively close to the B&B.

    The room was very nice and clean. The young man who was on site to receive us was exceptionally nice, helpful and spoke good English. We liked the location as it was a short walk half way between the Rialto Bridge and Ca D Oro. It was just to the out skirts of these two touristy areas and was quiet at night.
    The room did not have air conditioning, which was not a problem since we were there in early June. It did need to have a fan since you had to keep the windows closed in the afternoon and night. We were given a map on how to get to St. Canciano Church square and a picture of the "alley" entry leading to the entrance gate to the multiple apartment building. The written instructions were in broken English and unclear. When we got to the square, we called the 2 phone numbers on the directions and the owner answered, but he spoke no English and could not even understand my name to recognize that we were there at the agreed on time to pick the apartment keys. After a few minutes of trying to converse with him, he hung up on me. By luck several friendly locals saw we were perplexed and tried to help us. A very nice young man who could speak English knew exactly were the apartment was and took us there which turned out to be about 400 feet away. The young man who oversees the apartments and speaks English needs to have a phone have a phone a be listed on the contact instruction for the rental.
