I wish there were more photographs of this beautiful place! Great location, near all main attractions in Chianti. Rooms are simple, but pretty and very comfortable. The hospitality is wonderful. The proprietress is intelligent, warm and eager to show off the winery and help with suggestions and routes for sight seeing. A common room with wines and basic kitchen services makes it easy to meet other travelers and to prepare snacks. Little town of Vagliagli has an excellent restaurant and is very picturesque. Location is remote, though accessible through gorgeous countryside. The ancient stone B&B is just across the street from the estate's castle, in itself imposing and beautiful. Loved it.

The only thing that separated look of this B&B from the others at which we stayed was the loss of some of the sense of antiquity in the rooms themselves. Beds were not antique, though the armoire was, or was a great repro. Would love to see a little more attention to that kind of detail in the decor, though room was comfortable and not unattractive.

Il posto in cui sorge il B&B è bellissimo, immerso nel verde. La struttura è molto bella.

Il rubinetto del bagno aveva poca portata d'acqua. Per cui ne arrivava davvero poca nel lavabo, difetto che la doccia non aveva.

The Casali della Aiola is a very charming resort located a few kilometers away from the closest village in the middle of vineyards. It is very quiet and provides a wonderful view on the countryside. The accomodation was furnished with taste and sobriety. The personnel was welcoming and very helpful by providing useful tips about local restaurants, Siena, etc. We will return there without hesitation should we come back into the Chianti.

The Casali della Aiola is a peaceful and beautiful place, overlooking typical Chianti landscape, yet very close to the village Vagliagli which, although small, has almost everything you might require, including a 5 * restaurant. Also at a comfortable driving distance from "must see" sites, such as Siena.

One might argue that access to an online computer might have helped, but the same can be said about many places in Tuscany. It s not really a flaw. The hosts really supplied more than enough useful information.
